作者認為成熟的亞洲社會心理學的標志,不是它獲得的有關(guān)亞洲人的知識本身,而是它用來創(chuàng)造關(guān)于社會行為的一般性知識的特殊方法。方法論的關(guān)系論是亞洲社會心理學對主流心理學的一個重要貢獻,可以作為分析人類思想和行為的普遍性的概念框架。文章詳細地闡述了作為方法論的關(guān)系論的基本觀點。通過對儒家文化中的關(guān)系支配性、西方社會科學研究范式的轉(zhuǎn)變等問題的討論,作者分別說明了方法論的關(guān)系論在中西文化中的適用性。作者指出,在應(yīng)用方法論的關(guān)系論時,也要注意關(guān)系本身的文化差異。
