美國作為世界上第一大經(jīng)濟體，對世界經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展具有火車頭的作用。然而2007年美國經(jīng)濟的表現(xiàn)不盡人意，次貸危機的爆發(fā)更是雪上加霜。經(jīng)濟增長速度降低，通貨膨脹率升高，失業(yè)率增加，這一切顯示出美國經(jīng)濟已經(jīng)離滯脹越來越近了。美聯(lián)儲前主席格林斯潘稱“美國經(jīng)濟尚未陷入滯脹，但已經(jīng)有早期跡象出現(xiàn)”。
　　次貸危機是美國經(jīng)濟放緩的導火索，其后續(xù)影響不斷惡化并逐漸波及到世界經(jīng)濟。2007年世界經(jīng)濟在連續(xù)四年的高速增長之后，出現(xiàn)了調整的跡象。同時，美國、歐元區(qū)和廣大發(fā)展中國家的CPI上漲率已超過央行設定的控制目標。經(jīng)濟增長放緩和通貨膨脹的壓力同時出現(xiàn)，威脅著世界經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展，全球經(jīng)濟滯脹已經(jīng)漸行漸近
