美國最孚眾望的幽默小說家馬克•吐溫，以擅寫男童歷險故事及抨擊人類的軟弱與虛假而著稱于世。他成長于密西西比河岸。浪漫的河上生活及天真無邪的童年經(jīng)歷給他留下深刻印象，并成為以后寫作的背景素材。在這種環(huán)境熏陶下，他很小就擅于講幽默故事，并逐漸形成了自己獨特的幽默風格，即生動的幽默與辛辣的諷刺相結(jié)合，優(yōu)美的抒情與尖銳的政論相結(jié)合。馬克•吐溫的作品題材極其廣泛，他的探索精神、愛國熱情、浪漫氣質(zhì)及幽默筆調(diào)都達到了登峰造極的程度。本文著重闡述馬克•吐溫的幽默寫作風格。他的長篇小說按照幽默的表達方式分為語言幽默和情景幽默。短篇小說按其語氣特點分為三種：溫和幽默、善意嘲諷幽默和辛辣諷刺幽默。不論哪種幽默都使人為之捧腹大笑。他也獲得“幽默大師”的稱號。

Abstract
Mark Twain, the American famous humorist, is good at writing boys’ adventures and criticizing human’s shortcomings and hypocrisy. He was brought up at the bank of Mississippi. Romantic river life and innocent childhood left deep impressions on his mind, which became his later works’ setting materials. In such an environment, he was keen on telling humorous stories when he was young, and gradually formed his own special humor style—the combination of vivid humor and bitter satire and integration of lyric emotion and sharp political remarks. The topics of Mark Twain’s works are very broad. He was every bit as adventurous, patriotic, romantic, and humorous as anyone has ever imagined. This article mainly tells about Mark Twain’s humorous writing style. According to the expressions of humor, his long novels can be divided into humor derived from language and humor derived from situation. While his short novels include three kinds: mild humor, humor with satire and humor with sarcasm in the sense of tones. No matter what kind of humor it is, it can cause people laugh. He is also honored the name of “the father of humor”.
