運(yùn)用比較學(xué)的方式，在基于中國傳統(tǒng)文化及美學(xué)思想建立的頤和園與基于現(xiàn)代消費(fèi)文化的主題游樂公園-歡樂谷之間進(jìn)行比較。分別對(duì)其背后的文化動(dòng)機(jī)和經(jīng)濟(jì)動(dòng)機(jī)進(jìn)行比較和分析，以及其藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)表現(xiàn)方式的不同，和審美意趣的不同進(jìn)行對(duì)比，深入探討在兩種文化背景下產(chǎn)生的景觀設(shè)計(jì)方式的不同之處。在經(jīng)典文化與哲學(xué)消解的20世紀(jì)末乃至21世紀(jì)初，世界各地的景觀設(shè)計(jì)界興起一股建設(shè)主題游樂園的旋風(fēng)，本文則是以對(duì)于這種社會(huì)文化現(xiàn)象的觀察體驗(yàn)以及分析，從審美文化這一角度切入，對(duì)這種文化事實(shí)進(jìn)行剖析。對(duì)其背后的文化原因進(jìn)行論證和話題的展開，來求證主題游樂園其背后的文化成因以及審美傾向，以及其在現(xiàn)代社會(huì)背景經(jīng)營運(yùn)作中所具有的典型的現(xiàn)代景觀特質(zhì)。
