The overall salary plan has four basic concepts: The first viewpoint(in 1st chapter has made elaboration), continues to use the until now old salary system not to be able to play the attraction, detains with the drive modern employee's role.

整體薪酬方案有四個基本觀點:
第一個觀點(第1章中已作過闡述),沿用至今的舊薪酬體制已不能起到吸引、留住和激勵現(xiàn)代雇員的作用。
第二個觀點,整體薪酬方案不僅僅包含薪水、福利和獎勵,它還包含了十種不同類型的薪酬組成部分:基本工資;附加工資(獎金、加班工資和利益分享);福利工資;工作用品補(bǔ)貼〔各種辦公用品的補(bǔ)貼);額外津貼(生活福利);晉升機(jī)會;發(fā)展機(jī)會;心理收入;生活質(zhì)量(平衡工作和生活)和私人因素(雇員個人的需求)。
第三個觀點,這十種不同類型的薪酬必須組合成一個整體方案,由一個單獨的機(jī)構(gòu)--整體薪酬部為每個員工特別設(shè)計。如果這十種不同類型的薪酬不能綜合成一個整體,那么即使公司對它們非常重視,它們也起不了杠桿作用。
第四個觀點,整體薪酬方案必須允許雇員參與,所以稱之為“自助式薪酬方案”。
